I’m deeply committed to making a positive impact on horses' lives. I work full-time as a nurse and enjoy spending time with my family. I strive to provide essential resources for horses in need. My rescue efforts include rehabilitating neglected horses, providing medical care, and finding them loving forever homes.
Jackie has been rescuing horses informally for many years and has been active on the boards of several other nonprofits related to animals, trail use and human self-care. She is an avid horsewoman and is always willing to lend a hand and her expertise.
I live in Allegany County, with my husband Adam on our dream farm, Freedom Creek. I am an Air-Force veteran, and work as an exceptional student's education Teacher. I've had the privilege of working with rescues, providing rehabilitation, sanctuary placement, as well as sourcing new capable homes for horses in need.
I’m thrilled to be the treasurer of Big Hoof Rescue & Sanctuary, convinced that rescuing and helping animals is in my blood. It’s an honor to work with like-minded individuals. As a former veterinary technician, I aim to share my expertise in rehabbing and rehoming horses, and to educate and support the public.
My Husband and I are owners of a farm that raises beef cattle and boards horses. I provide riding lessons for individuals with disabilities, and I am passionate about horse rescue. My farm is a place where everyone can enjoy the benefits of horseback riding and learn horsemanship in a safe environment.
